On 20th May, 2023, Mr. Hitender Mehta, Managing Partner, Centrum LEGAL was invited by the Ludhiana Chapter of NIRC of ICSI as a Keynote Speaker to address a session on the topic “Intricacies of Amendments to PMLA” in Ludhiana. Mr. Mehta explained in detail the intricacies of recent amendments made to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 through two notifications issued in May 2023 by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Besides, he highlighted the implications of these amendments on the Company Secretaries as well as on Chartered Accountants and Cost Accountants.
