Exports can be increased by business friendly norms for SEZs: Hitender Mehta

Our Managing Partner Hitender Mehta, also Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM National Council on SEZs and Industrial Parks, addresses the media on the occasion of signing of MoU between ASSOCHAM and Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (EPCES).

SEZs account for 18% of India’s exports and with business-friendly norms, the percentage can increase further asserted the Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM National Council on SEZs and Industry Parks – Hitender Mehta. Referring to the MoU signed between ASSOCHAM and Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs, he observed that the objective for cooperation was to promote the larger interest of trade and industry.
