On 20th April 2023, on the topic “India’s Free Trade Agreement with UAE -Tapping the potential for enhancing Trade and Investment” at a Conference organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) in New Delhi.

Dr. Srikar K Reddy, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India 🇮🇳 & Chief Negotiator from India side was the Chief Guest. Welcome address was given by Shri Saurabh Sanyal, CEO & Secretary General, PHDCCI. Ms. Nisha from Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India graced the Conference as a panel expert. Dr. S P Sharma, Chief Economist & DSG, PHDCCI moderated the session.

A Research Report titled “India – UAE FTA: Unleashing Export Potential” was released by PHDCCI. A presentation about the Report was made by Dr. Deepika Chawla, Economist, PHDCCI. The Conference was attended by over 75 participants comprising of Industry captains, professionals, consultants, academicians and researchers. Quality deliberations and constructive floor participation made the Conference a big success.
